Why businesses leave Webflow
Businesses usually leave Webflow when the designer who built the site moves on, or when plans and seats keep climbing for a site the owner can't change. The site looks fine; it just depends on a tool and a person the business doesn't have.
Moving off it means a site that doesn't need a design tool to change, looked after by the people who built it.
What you can export
Webflow exports a site's code on paid plans, but the CMS, forms and store don't work in it. What does export cleanly is the content: every CMS collection as a spreadsheet, form entries, and products if there's a store.
We take the content and rebuild the site properly, so nothing depends on Webflow afterwards.
Your domain and email
Webflow doesn't sell domains, so yours is already at a registrar you control, which makes the switch simple: the records that point to Webflow are changed to point to the new site, and the email records are left alone.
The day of the switch
The new site is checked on a private link first. On the day, the domain is pointed at it with every redirect in place, and Webflow waits in the background until everything is confirmed.
The weeks after
We watch Search Console, test forms, resubmit the sitemap, and once everything has settled, cancel the site plan and the editor seats.
- Search Console watched
- Forms tested
- Plans and seats cancelled last
